Overview

Qovery-managed Scaleway Kapsule provides zero-configuration Kubernetes clusters on Scaleway. Qovery creates, configures, and maintains your Kapsule cluster with best practices built-in.

Quick Start

Connect Scaleway Account

Organization Settings → Cloud Providers → Add Scaleway Account
  • Provide Scaleway access key and secret key
  • Select region for cluster

Create Cluster

Settings → Clusters → Create Cluster
  • Name: production-kapsule
  • Provider: Scaleway
  • Region: fr-par (Paris) or nl-ams (Amsterdam) or pl-waw (Warsaw)
  • Click Create

Wait for Provisioning

Cluster creation takes 15-20 minutes:
  • VPC creation
  • Kapsule cluster creation
  • Node pool provisioning
  • Load balancer setup
  • Qovery components installation

Deploy Applications

Once cluster is ready, start deploying applications

Cluster Settings

Instance Types:
  • Development: DEV1-S, DEV1-M, DEV1-L, DEV1-XL
  • General Purpose: GP1-XS, GP1-S, GP1-M, GP1-L, GP1-XL
  • Production: PRO2-XXS to PRO2-XXL
  • Enterprise: ENT1 series
Auto-Scaling:
  • Min nodes: 1
  • Max nodes: 100
  • Cluster autoscaler automatically provisions optimal instances
  • Node pools per availability zone
